In August, we painted cloth tote
bags for our charity projects. The
bags will later be filled with goodies to
give to our organizations to help
create smiles. What could be better?

2009 Summer Seminar
 
The 2009 Summer Seminar was a wonderful experience. The medium
was colored pencils, the teacher was Janelle Johnson and the projects,
instruction, food and painters were great! Hope you didn't miss it!

hot July night with a reminder that it
would soon be cold and we would
need a candle decorated lantern to

Jan Sunny instructed us on the
proper painting of the ornament
to be sold at our upcoming Heritage
Sale. The chapter is sure to make
lots of money on this one.

Gypsy of 2008
Jane Haggard was selected as the
Gypsy of the Year 2008 by our President,
Mary Clegg. Congratulations, Jane!

Christmas Party
The Christmas Party was very memorable this
year. It was all in celebration of "Feliz Navidad".
We had Mexican food and entertainment and
the decorations also carried out the theme.
Thanks to the Christmas Committee!!!!

Dee Keener was our October teacher and
what a cute project! This was the first item
that Dee ever designed. It's obvious that
she has talent. And all the painters in the
chapter now have a new Halloween decoration.

A lovely fall design on a pot taught by
Jane Haggard at the September meeting
was perfect to fill and set on our Autuum
tables. Thanks Jane for a great class!

This was a great new class, teaching us an old
method: Tinsel Reverse Glass Painting. All the
finished projects looked so beautiful! Thanks,

The July meeting was to paint
chapter ornamemts to be sold
at the upcoming Heritage Sale.
Judy Coates taught the class and
we each got to paint one for
ourselves, too! This snowman
is sure to be a great money maker
for the chapter!

Yvonne Thompson was our teacher in June.
We painted with Egg Tempura.
We all learned something new and had a great time doing it!

The Tea Party was a lovely, successful event! The hostesses
were so very creative and talented!
Our Hospitality Chairpersons, Jan and Sally, did a
wonderful job of presenting our food on a white canvas
and fresh flowers. Great job, everyone!
