• Congratulations!

By Mary Clegg CDA, Gypsy Tolers of Southern California
During our general meeting, the Gypsy Tolers honored Dianne Crowther MDA, for her achievement: receiving MDA certification this year.
The Tolers presented her with two dozen pink roses. We are so very proud of her. This achievement is just one of many for her.
She is amazing. Dianne has been active in our Chapter since she began painting and is one of our past presidents. While at convention she attended the Chapter Gathering on behalf of our chapter and gave a very informative report to our members upon her return.
She also shared with us her beautiful Master stroke tray, which was her entry this year. Congratulations, Dianne!

Dianne Crowther MDA "Master Decorative Artist"
Our very own "Gypsy Toler" and the only person in the
USA to become an MDA in 2008!

Dianne started painting in 1995 and took up oils in 1996. She submitted her first CDA Still Life in 1997 and received a NFS.
In 1999 she passed and achieved CDA. Dianne passed her MDA Still Life in 2002, her Floral in 2004 and after five tries, she passed Stroke in 2008.

The artist has a home studio where she hosts travel teachers and offers classes of her own. Dianne and her husband Dick have three children and five grandchildren. Her hobbies are painting, water sports, snow skiing, and listening to books.  Volunteering for civic groups that benefit the homeless, neglected and abused children of her community is a top priority for her.
Dianne is past chairman of the board of directors of The Children’s Fund and past president of Bonnes Meres, both non-profit organizations that raise money to aid children.
